    Dr. Anjali Bandekar, DVM, BVSc & AH

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Anjali Bandekar, graduated from Bombay Veterinary College, India and subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Animal Surgery from Great Britain's Royal Veterinary College in 1999.

    She built her experience by working at an animal clinic in Mumbai, India for over 2 years before moving to England to gain her Master's degree.

    Before starting her own practice (New Britain Veterinary Clinic) she was working for over 6 years with Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital in Coopersburg, PA and prior to that for 2 years with SPCA in Philadelphia, PA.

    After settling in the New Britain area Dr Bandekar decided to pursue her love for animals and global experience by opening New Britain Veterinary Clinic in the community.

    Her specialty is in dog and cat medicine and surgery with special interest in orthopedic surgery.

    She lives with her husband and two daughters.

    Head Veterinary Nurse/ Practice Manager
    Jenny joined New Britain Veterinary Clinic in 2010. She has been in the veterinary field since 1987 starting off in the kennel and working her way up to Head Veterinary Nurse. In addition to her nursing duties Jenny is also our Practice Manager. She is married and has two daughters Kailee and Harlow. She also has three cats, and two dogs

    Veterinary Students / Future Veterinarians
    Lauren and Liz are both veterinary students, who have both completed their undergraduate degrees. Lauren has observed Dr. Bandekar for about three years now, and is now attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Liz has observed Dr. Bandekar for the past two years, and will be attending Long Island University in the fall. While working at New Britain Veterinary Clinic, they have both gained valuable knowledge and experience in veterinary practice.

    Raina and Taylor are Dr. Bandekar's Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists at the clinic. Raina is a student at Germantown Academy, and has a keen interest in the medical and science field. She hopes to gain experience through the clinic. Taylor will be attending Delaware Valley University in the Fall and plans on majoring in Small Animal Sciences.
